In about 16 hours I have to start baking 10lbs of potatos to take to a picnic. I've had them at picnics before where they are wrapped in foil. My question is how long do you bake them and at what temperature?

With that many I would punch them with a knife a couple of times and rub them in oil, then roll them in kosher salt.

Bake them at least an 1 ½ - 2 hours.

If they are for baked potatoes, I usually bake mine around 400-450 for about an hour - but I like mine soft. To make them really yummy I rub the outside with sea salt before I put them in the oven.
