I have bought 4 cans of tiny shrimp.Dh said oh those would be good to use in something.I want to only use one can at a time and stock up on them at Walgreens this week they are 2/3.00.They also have crab meat 2/3.00 too.I would only like to use one can per recipe but have no idea what to do with these.Dh suggest the tiny shrimp for making a sandwich spread.I would have to add things to it to make even stretch for a sandwich for DH & .Does anyone have some recipes to share with me?How about crab cakes using one can?I really would like to stock up and have recipes. Please help!

Thanks!

Saute the little shrimps in butter and garlic and then add them to fettucine alfredo.

I have used them in shrimp dip recipes (I will look for them for you!) I would also make shrimp salad and add mayo, celery, s&p, and any other seasonings you like. Put on rolls and serve!
How about adding them to a soup recipe? Like manhattan clam(shrimp).
Top a caesar salad with them for a great summer dinner.

Manhattan clam is chowder, its the red broth one. I think you can make a clear chowder and add some tomatos to it to give it the red.

RI is clear, New England is the milky one. They are ALL yummy.

I made a seafood scampi at work that is really easy. I melt butter and garlic together first. Then I dice up some seafood, anykind. Sealegs, scallops, shrimp and whatever. I mix that together with some of the garlic butter and breadcrumbs. Then I place that over fish and the rest of the garlic butter. Bake for about 10-15 minutes, till the fish is cooked. It is alwasy SOOOO good!

This is a Paula Deen recipe that dh and I love.

The Best Crab Casserole

1 6 1/2 ounce can crabmeat, drained
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup soft breadcrumbs
3/4 cup half & half
6 hard boiled eggs, finely chopped
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup sliced stuffed green olives
2 Tbl chopped fresh parsley
3/4 tsp salt
pinch of pepper
1/2 cup buttered soft breadcrumbs
Olive slices, for garnish

In a large bowl, break up the crabmeat in chunks. Add the mayo, soft breadcrumbs, half & half, eggs, onion, olives, parsley, salt, and pepper, and fold together. Divide the mixture among greased individual bakers or spoon it into a 1 qt casserole dish. Top with the buttered bread crumbs and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Garnish with olive slices.
