Ladies, I have a ton of leftovers from my daughters bday party. I need to use them up... no waste right? I plan on making calzones with the leftover coldcuts but what about the leftover fruit and corn on the cob? How do coldcuts freeze? Are they slimy after they defrost?

Any any ideas for left over rolls, bread and roll ups that are not too fresh anymore? French toast maybe?

Any thoughts, ideas or recipes grately appreciated.

Thank you!!!

I would think you could cut the corn off the cob and freeze it. I'd freeze the fruit too for recipes. I always cut up leftover bread and freeze it for meatballs. You could also make bread crumbs. French toast is a great idea, how about bread pudding?

You could freeze the fruit, or even use it now, to make smoothies with.

I cut the corn off the cob and freeze it as well (like was said) and the fruit for smoothies (with yogurt and juice). I freeze almost anything! I was going to say that the bread might be good to freeze and then use later as garlic bread or something since it can sometimes soften up in the oven. Or you could make croutons with it.
