5 eggs
4 slices bacon
2 tablespoons mustard, or to taste
1 cup mayonnaise
3 stalks celery, minced
2 pounds small potatoes
salt and pepper to taste
paprika

Place the potatoes in a pot with enough water to cover, and bring to a boil. Cook for about 20 minutes, or until tender. Drain and cool.
Meanwhile, place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring water to a boil and immediately remove from heat. Cover, and let eggs stand in hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from hot water, and place in a bowl of cold water to cool.
Peel the eggs, and place 3 of them into a large bowl. Reserve the rest for later. Mash the eggs in the bowl with a fork. Stir in the mustard, mayonnaise, celery, salt and pepper. Set aside.
Cook bacon slices in the microwave for about 4 minutes, until crisp, or fry in a skillet over medium-high heat. Crumble 2 of the bacon slices into the mayonnaise mixture. Reserve the rest for garnish.
Peel and chop the potatoes, and stir into the bowl until evenly coated. Slice the 2 remaining eggs, and place on top of the salad. Crumble the remaining bacon over the eggs, sprinkle with paprika.

I'm looking for a petits fours recipe. I've tried looking online but they just don't seem to be jumping out at me. Heres a link to a pictures of what I'm looking for:

Petits Fours Collection: Classic, Red Velvet & Cofee Petits Fours ~ Wisconsin Cheeseman

As you can see its $40 for 60 of them. Thats actually the cheapest I've seen, but I'd still like tomake my own. I'm sure that would be even cheaper yet!

Maybe this

2 lbs frozen hash brown potatoes
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. melted margarine
2 c. sour cream
8 oz sharp cheese, shredded
1 c. chopped onion, optional
1 c. crushed potato chips

thaw hash browns for 30 mins. In a 9x13 greased pan mix hash browns, soup, margarine, sour cream, cheese and onion. Top with potato chips. Bake 375 for 1 hr.

I've made this but you can add melted velveeta to the soup and top with corn flakes instead of potato chips. I think I'm going to do this next time I make it, always make it for Thanksgiving.

I have a bucket of pears that we picked from my mil's tree. I don't have any canning jars/supplies, but I would like to use up the pears for something. I would like to make some Pear Preserves or use them in a pancake topping. All the recipes I found online for the preserves made Big Batches for canning. Any suggestions? TIA.
