I need to get back on track. . . I am going to set my budget at 350. *Hope I can do it*

I went to Schnuck's today:

4 bags pictsweet froz veg's
3 pasta roni boxes
2 blueberry muffin mix pouches
1 schnucks orange soda
1 6pk ramen
1 schnucks margarine tub
4 schnucks cream of chicken
2 schnucks cream of mushroom
2 schnucks cream of celery
1 campbells shrek soup
1 half and half
1 tabasco
2.46 lb bananas
2 pills crescent rolls
1 french's worchestershire
1 libby sauerkraut
1 spaghettios
1 skippy pb
1 jif pb
1 french's fried onions
1 32 oz smuckers jam
1 frenchs mustard
1 bunny bread
1 angel soft 6 pack
4 candy bars
Total w/tax-35.65

Remaining: 314.35


Off to Walmart and Aldi tomorrow.

Welcome enlivendesigns.You are right where I was 4 or 5 years ago when I started doing this.It takes time and putting in the effert like you are doing right now is going to pay off for you.I would watch what people buy and watch there menu's and that helped me a lot.Good luck with it and thanks for joing us.

Thanks! Once in awhile I can find a good deal......but not too many out here. No printed coupons, no double coupons, etc....Puts a damper on my saving!

Okay so I hit Meijer today for my weekly groceries/supplies. I usually stop @ Aldi's first, but Meijer had their milk on sale and some other items I could get cheaper there. I have a feeling that toward the end of this month, we're going to be having "clean out your fridge/cupboard dinners"
