hello everyone..I need some help...my kids use to eat lunch from school everyday because we would get the reduced price. But I found out yesterday that we make too much $$($100 over a year)..I have 4 kids in school and can't see spending $120 a month for their lunch especially when they come home starving. So I have decided that they are going to pack most of the time, but I don't want to just send them with sandwiches all the time. I did get each of them a stainless steel thermos but I really need some lunch ideas. And I was wondering if any of you have tried spaghetti O's or chick nuggets in the thermos and how it worked out for you.

so far all I have on the menu for this week is a bolonga sandwich for tomorrow and then tuna on mini bagels for Tues..

I have done Spaghettios and mac and cheese and both work well in the thermos. I heat it with hot water before I fill it and the food stays very warm.

I work in our school cafeteria and I see a lot of different foods come in - the most popular thermos foods seem to be mac and cheese, beef stew, spaghetti, meatballs, and rice.
