Ladies, I just scored a bread machine at a yard sale this weekend. I made my first loaf of bread - cinn/raisin. It came out really good except I didn't know when to add the raisins. I know the machine beeps when it changes cycles but at what point do I add the "add ins?" I added them the last 25 minutes w/o the beep and all the raisins stayed on top. LOL. It still tasted good though. How do I know when it's on the last kneading cycle? Do I need to hang around waiting for it? What happens if I add the raisins in the beginning when I add the rest of the ingredients?

it should only beep when it is time to add the raisins. You can add them from the start but they might get a little chewed up from all the mixing.
