I am going to say $400.00 but I think I am going to have to work hard to stick to that. I have recently started clipping coupons and that helps a lot. I also love Aldis for a lot of regular things. This board helps so much.

Well I had to shop for Thanksgiving weekend for dinner. I managed to get everything and a few extras for $78.70. I also spent an extra $10 on a box of pampers diapers (124 per box)this week. My BIL works at P&G and they were having a sale. Could not pass up a deal like that on diapers!!

I might make it under budget. Was not too sure how much to start out for the grocery challenge.

Budget $450.00
Spent $78.70
Spent $10.00
Remaining $240.40

Okay... because I've been including EVERYTHING! (And you know how much diapers can be!)

Maybe I'll change that for next month.

I include everything in my budget-grocery, hba, toiletries, and eating out. It is easier for me this way since I usually pick all that stuff up when I am doing my grocery shopping.

I have a family of 4 with 2 dogs, I include all paper & cleaning products in my totals as well as dog food. My budget is $350 a month which is up $50 with all the increases in prices and it allows me some wiggle room to stock up. I track my budget for 2 months as most of the time when I stock up especially on meat it will be eaten in the next month. So below is how I'm doing for Sept/Oct.

I cherry picked today on the way home from Children's at Walgreen's, Meijer's, and CVS spent $46.23 and saved $54.43 ($16.30 coupons & $38.13 sales). Wont be buying TP (24 bill rolls), tissues (2 216 ct), Deod (6), pads for a long time since I already had some but couldn't pass up the deals.

Budget for Sept/Oct $700
Spent $548.75
Coupons $206.32
Sales $285.75
Balance $151.25

I've been saying I was going to do this for months and never have. Last month we spent $208.69, which includes everything (cleaning supplies, diapers, etc.). This month will be a little bit higher though, we have been preparing for the arrival for our baby and have been purchasing a lot of last minute items that are still needed, plus we do our shopping on Thursdays and their are five in this month!!

I'm going to budget $275.00 we have already spent $148.18 so that leaves us $126.82 for the rest of the moth, we'll see!!
