I shop at BJs but not as much as I used to. I think bulk shopping is tricky and you really need to know your prices. I put the items I purchased from my last shop on the BJs thread.

With winter coming I will probably shop at BJs more to stock up on things.

The only problem w/bulk shopping is I always tend to spend a lot of $ and then still spend a lot at my regular grocery stores.

I mostly buy diapers, wipes, toilet paper and gas at Sam's Club. Occasionally baking supplies. I've found that most items are cheaper to buy store brand at walmart, Especially things like canned goods and cereal.

Ok, I'm new to this as well and LOVE it. I just found this website a few weeks ago!

My budget for October is $350 (which includes groceries, cleaning/paper products, pullups/wipes). It is my husband, myself, 3 year old son and a newborn to join us any day now (I am due Saturday, 10/11).

In September our budget was $400 and I spent $439.58. August it was $400 as well and I spent $424.04

This month I did try to break out our budget as follows to make up the $350 to really track our spending and also cut it down some since I am out on maternity leave...
$300 groceries
$50 cleaning/paper products/diapers/wipes

Currently I've spent:
$49.18 - WalMart
$23.67 - Aldi
$25.16 - Aldi
$30.14 - Kmart (paper, cleaning, diapers for month) - super saver month!

Budget = $350
Left for October = $221.85
