I have to go out of town and dh is terrible in the kitchen. I am working on freezing meals for dh and dd and that is going ok. However, I am a few meals for dh short and a need some snack ideas (for dd like a quick bread or something) that freeze well. Any help with meals and or snacks that freeze well would be greatly appreciated. One note, my dd is allergic to peanuts so we keep no peanut products in the house. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.

What about making abatch of mini muffins? Those always seem to do well! I like the pretzel idea too.

What have you already made for your dh to put in the oven?

I have already made a batch of turkey chili, ravioli (yes the man has issues boiling water), porcupine balls, and meatloaf w/mashed potatoes. I put them all in trays ready to be heated with veggies. I love the pretzel idea and mini muffins and will use both of those. I will also try to freeze my apple bread this week and hopefully that will do ok. Still a bit short but the ideas are a huge help. Thank you very much.

I've recently started making frozen meals for when we have the baby, and so for I've made a pot pie and chicken stew. They should reheat well, unless he can't run a toaster oven or light a stove burner.

The mini muffin idea is GREAT, and you can even use most quick bread recipes (I think).

What about spaghetti sauce, chicken soup or beef stew? My family loves all of those.
