I always just buy the plain pumpkin too, so I can spice it up the way I want to. I will make:
pumpkin pie pancakes
pumpkin spice bread
pumpkin waffles
pumpkin chocolate chip muffins
curried pumpkin apple soup
a West African peanut soup (that I can either put pumpkin or sweet potato in)
and sometimes pumpkin pie oatmeal or actual pumpkin pie.

I bought a pie pumpkin at Trader Joes today, so that should be fun to use up! Last year I froze a TON of pumpkin puree (from our pumpkin patch/Halloween pumpkins), and we finally used up the last container a few weeks ago. Oh, and I've made pumpkin butter too. YUM.

I have always made pumpkin pies. Last year was pumpkin rolls-yummy! This year is pumpkin gobs and pumpkin bread (I think its actually M2M's recipe!).

I don't use canned pumpkin. A local farm sells pumpkins real cheap and last year I started cooking them down and freezing the puree. Cheaper and better. A lot of work but on a chilly day its worth it!
