How often do you scrap?

For those of you ladies on here that are such die-hard scrappers like abbysmommy, Ember, JenM, blessed_with_6, bucnspat, and others how often do you scrap? Do you create pages every day, every other day; when the kids are not bothering you? I was just wondering. I am recently new to scrapping and did a few days in a row & was going to try tonight but I just don't have the brainpower or the energy to be creative tonight.

I scrap in bursts!! I'll go for days or weeks w/o anything, and then I'll sit down and not move for a week!! And now that I have my little "bug"...I'm a scrappin' fool!!

That's exactly how I am. I had to pick mine up over the holiday, and I just haven't gotten it back out yet.

I tried to do some the other night when my 2 year old son was still up & that was a big mistake! He wanted to be all in it, so I had to wait till he was in bed. My dd wanted to help me also.

Yes I remember those days with little children. I have been scrapbooking for 16 years I had a friend who got me started when I got married because she was a Creative Memories consultant so for a wedding present she got me lots of things and helped me to a wedding album. I look back on some of my scrapbooks from when my children were young and there wasnt time for anything fancy except just cutting photos with fancy scissors and using a few stickers. It seemed that you had to work at night when childen where asleep or napping. I am one who has to be motivated or feel creative. It has helped me a lot recently to check out this webiste each day because it keeps me motivated and inspired to want to get my pictures caught up and to stay with it. I just finished today the last of my photos for 2007 so I can move onto this years photos!! I plan to spend lots of time next week on this project as my children will be at a day camp all week. I would like to post some of my work here this next week also.

I scrap with the children up. THey have their own table and whether they are doing arts and crafts or playing with playdoh it keeps them entertained and I get my scrappon done. We sing and laugh while we are doing it. Before I started working it was a daily thing now it is about 2-3 nights a week for about 1-2 hours. That is why my pages are so scarce!

I mostly do them at night after my kids go to bed but I do have a kids table in my scrapping room and sometimes we scrap together. They love to cut and glue too! I try to do at least one page or a couple of cards each day.

I try to scrap everyday. I have so much catching up to do....with just getting into it...and my older two being 15 and 12. LOL

Usually it is done during nap time!! And nighttime is the best when everyone is in bed.
