1 tsp olive oil
2 c mushrooms, chopped fine
1 c onions, chopped fine
1/2 c bell peppers, chopped fine
1/4 c celery, chopped fine
1/4 c carrots, chopped fine
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz ground turkey breast
8 oz ground round
1/4 c ketchup
1 Tbs red wine vinegar
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp oregano
1 (8oz)no-salt-added tomato sauce
salt
black pepper
hot sauce
Combine ketchup and next 8 ingredients,set aside.
Heat oil oven over med-high heat,add mushrooms and next 7 ingred,saute 5 minutes until meat is browned, stirring to crumble.
Stir in ketchup mixture; bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve on toasted hamburger buns.
you can use all turkey also.
