I don't think this is really HEALTHY, but it's my little WW indulgence when I am craving chocolate....

I take some chocolate low-fat graham crackers, smear them with fat-free cool whip, make little "sandwiches" out of them, cover them with plastic wrap, and freeze them. This is a low-fat, low-calorie frozen snack for when my sweet tooth is calling.

Mmmm, sounds good.

I am not one for cool whip though, I wonder if I can smear them with something else!

Oh, there are probably plenty of ideas. Maybe lowfat or fat free ice cream--that would be yummy too! (but I'm not sure what that would do to the calorie level...?)

A big snack item of mine lately has been 1/2c ff cottage cheese with 1 apple cut up and sprinkled with cinnamon.
Here is another recipe - love this (and I was never a tofu person)

Tofu Strawberry Mousse
* Nasoya Silken Tofu, 455 gram(s) (remove)
* Strawberries, fresh, 8 medium (1-1/4" dia) (remove)
* Powdered Sugar, 1.2 cup, unsifted (remove)

Nutritional Info
Fat: 1.7g
Carbohydrates: 25.9g
Calories:135.7
Protein: 3.4g
Puree strawberries until they reach a thick, liquid consistency. Add tofu and blend until fully combined. Add confectioners' sugar & blend until smooth. Pour mixture into an airtight container & chill for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Can serve with a whole strawberry on top.

  • pretzels dipped in your favorite mustard,
  • homemade, whole wheat pita chips with dip made of fat-free sour cream, salsa, and some taco seasoning,
  • Laughing Cow lite cheese smeared on a Wasa cracker and topped with a slice of turkey - sometimes, I top that with a slice of dill pickle,
  • whole or half of a Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich topped with 0 pt. whipped cream,
  • Jolly Time lowfat/fat free kettle corn
