The first time I ate this my Dad's girlfriend made some in the 80s!!
I haven't made any myself, but I do remember it was really good - although it may sound kinda gross.

My Dads GF put either lime or grape jello in hers. I liked the grape best!!

This couldn't be easier!!

COTTAGE CHEESE & FRUIT SALAD

1 pkg. Jello, dry
1 sm. carton Cool Whip
1 sm. carton cottage cheese, sm. curd
1 can drained fruit

Stir dry Jello into cottage cheese, add drained fruit and Cool Whip, then stir.

There are lots of combinations you can make with this recipe....With cherry Jello use bing cherries, with raspberry Jello use fruit cocktail, with lime Jello use pears, with strawberry Jello use bananas and crushed pineapple, and with orange Jello use mandarin oranges and crushed pineapple.
