The points value, 2 or 3, depends on which brand of cake mix you use. I can't remember which brand makes 2 point muffins, but I'd just take my points calculator to the store with me.

I made these today and they turned out great. I put 12 in the freezer for a nice treat in my lunch this month.

I had a few spoonfuls of batter and instead of making one more muffin I added some pancake mix, an egg, and a little oil. I made 6 small pumpkin pancakes to freeze for quick weekday breakfasts. I think my son will enjoy this treat.
