this tastes ALOT like the "bourbon chicken"
Mix:
2/3 c sugar
1/4 c soy sauce
1 Tbs lemon juice
1 tsp veg oil
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp fresh minced ginger
and add to mix 4 tsp mixed w/1/4 c water
Bring to a boil then simmer 5 minutes to thicken.
6 skinless thigh fillets
rub w/oil and grill on both sides til done.
(you can pan fry but the char lines and stuff really add to the overall flavor)
chop up into small pieces then toss into a skillet over med high heat.
When the chicken starts to really sizzle add the sauce...stir to mix and serve over rice.
I made this last night and could kick myself for not getting a pix...it looked like takeout and was DELISH!!!!
