OK, already mentioned, but spaghetti, I use whatever buns I have for garlic bread.

Soup and grilled cheese.

Breakfast for dinner.

Bow tie pasta, canned diced tomatoes with basil, or garlic seasonings and warm bread.

Fettucine alfredo with broccoli, can add leftover ham, peas, cooked chicken. Almost the same cost as spaghetti, if you use leftovers for the other ingredients.

Pizza bread, use loaf of Italian bread, sauce, mozz. cheese, any veggies on hand.

Hot dogs in crescent rolls and mac and cheese.

For lunch I will give my kids whatever fruit is needing used up and a scoop of orange sherert, a "fruit plate"!

Latest Blog Entry: What a productive weekend!
make a box of stuffing mix, spread stuffing mix on turkey lunch meat, or I have used ham too when on sale. Roll up as many as you need for your family..we have 4 in our family and I make 6 3 for dh and 1 for me and each of the kids, then put the rolls in a baking dish and pour a can of cream of mushroom soup, or I make a gravy with boilion cubes (no idea how to spell that) over top then just bake in the oven at 350 until it bubbles about 20 minutes. I serve this often, it is a favorite at our house ! I usually make a can of any veggie I have on hand. We had this last night and I made corn on the cob...yummy! If you go to aldi and buy everything it cost's less then $5 for the meal!! Maybe with lunchmeat left over

we have this a lot in the fall....

acorn squash cut in half and seeded

browned italian sausage drained
boxed stuffing mix

Mix sausage and stuffing and a little water
stuff the acorn squash
wrap w/ foil
bake until you can easily poke a knife through
Make 1/2 squash per person for complete meal

easy, yummy, cheap!

I LOVE chicken stir fry. I take 2 large breasts, cut dice them up, brown them in some oil, add a bag of frozen veggies,, then add a bit of stiry fry sauce, let simmer. Serve over rice.

Pork Chop bake. Brown up some boneless pork chops in a pan, then place them on the bottom of a baking dish. layer it with apple pie mix, then top it with a box of stuffing already mixed. Bake for about 15 minutes and serve with a side veggie.

Both of those sound great!

Tonight I'm trying something new. I took some boneless pork chops, put them in a baking dish with some instant rice, and added some chicken broth. I have done this before but with cream of celery, but I didn't have any handy. HOpefully this works, and I'll just serve it with a size veggie.
