I made up this recipe because the one I found earlier, I found out I didnt have two of the ingredients to make it like I thought I did.
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup (10.75 oz)
1 pound hamburger (I made four patties 2 adults and 2 kids size)
1/3 cup bread crumbs (I used Italian bread crumbs)
1/2 small onion chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 cup brown gravy
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
Mix thoroughly hamburger, bread crumbs, onion and egg. I also seasoned with black pepper and garlic powder. Make into patties. Brown patties on both sides in large skillet (use skillet with lid if possible). Remove from skillet and keep warm. Saute mushrooms in same skillet. Add two cans for mushroom and cup of brown gravy. Stir until mixed and smooth. Add patties back in. Cover with lid and cook until heated thoroughly.
This is not a fancy meal but it was hot and filling. I just served mashed potatoes and added some steamed brocoli for a side. Kids and dh loved it.
