I don't eat pork at all and I am making ham for Easter. Everyone else eats it and would like to make it for them. My problem is I don't know which hams are good. I used to buy the brand Kentuckian (sp?) but it is about 3.20lb and money is tight. Any suggestions?

I like, and always buy the Sugardale bone in ham...gotta have the ham bone for soup beans

But for some reason got stuck last year with a store brand and it was just as good actually.

The only thing I hate when it comes to ham is the spiral cut...but some people love these.

Aldi's has a spiral cut ham that is actually pretty good! Cure 81 is a good brand and Cooks, someone should be having a sale on them right now, in Oklahoma .99 for a shank portion and 1.29 for butt is a pretty good price. The one at Aldi is 1.49, but it is already spiral cut.
