Tater Tot and Brats Casserole

16 ounces bratwurst, casings removed
1 med onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 (32oz)pkg tater tots
2 c sour cream
2 c shredded Cheddar cheese


Cook and crumble brats with onion and DRAIN WELL(press with back of spoon also to drain)

Stir in the soup.

Transfer to a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish.

Top with Tater Tots and sour cream.

Sprinkle with cheese.


Bake, uncovered, at 350 35-40 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

I made this for dinner tonight... and I am not sure if I did something wrong or not, but it turned out terrible!
It was just an odd tasteing meal. We ended up throwing it out and having leftover enchiladas from last night

Hmm, must have been something I did .
