I found a complete wok set at a garage sale for a $1.00!!! It still had everything in the original wrappers. I am more than a little intimidated by cooking in it though. Does anyone have some tried and true recipes or ideas? I hate to waste food, or make something and my kids (ds 11, dd 4) not eat it.

I had one that I used to stir fry in, but I cannot tell a lie, I stopped using it and just use a skillet now. Basically you just use whatever meat you like (we usually do chicken) whatever veggies you like...like broccoli, green or red peppers, onions, bamboo shoots, that baby corn you buy in a can, water chestnuts, mushrooms...in whatever combination you like, then some sauce. I have gotten to where I'm lazy & I buy bottled marinade or sauce...again depends on whether you like spicey (like szechuan) or mild (like sweet & sour). HTH
