This recipe can use either chicken or tuna, your choice

You will need:

2 cups elbow macaroni ~multigrain and whole wheat are healthier options (uncooked)
1 10 oz can of tuna or canned chicken
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken (if you use chicken) or 1 can cream of shrimp (If you use tuna)
2 cups shredded cheese (colby jack is best)

Preheat oven to 350
Prepare macaroni so that it is thoroughly cooked
As macaroni is cooking, in a casserole dish add soups, meat, and stir together
Once macaroni is cooked, strain it and then add it to casserole dish
Mix together so that the soups, meat and macaroni are well blended
Top with cheese
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until cheese turns golden brown

**this recipe is also very good as leftovers the next day!!**

Christy_K, Thanks for posting this recipe, I made the chicken version for dinner last night, the only things different I did was--used 1 can of cream of celery instead of mushroom and used cheddar on top...OMG it was SOOOOO good...DH loved it, he ate 2 big platefuls!! We are eating the rest for lunch today. Thanks so much for the recipe, it's a keeper!!! :D

I make this too but only use 1 can of soup. If it seems to need more I just add milk. We eat the tuna version during Lent quite a bit. My kids like plain potato chips crushed on top.

Christy I made this for dinner last night and YUM!My youngest and I had seconds. My oldest acted like he didn't like it but he ate it.I think he wanted more of the sides instead. We have some left over and I will have it for lunch today.

I had a can of turkey in the pantry so I used that and also I used block velvetta instead since I have a huge block of it.

Thanks Christy!
