Has anyone ever made this? Is it any good? I've seen a lot of recipes for it, but have always been afraid to try it. I now have been blessed with 4 bags of corn meal and need to use it up. Any good recipes for it (Polenta or anything else for the corn meal) would be greatly appreciated.

My mil makes and and I have. I can't say I'm a huge fan. When she made it she did it like mush and put sauce on it. I didn't like it at all. I saw on a cooking show where they put it in a greeced pan and let it set up so you could slice it, then they fried it . It was better like this, but just not my thing. It was a long time ago so I don't really remember exactly what the recipe was.

I use corn meal as breading on green tomatoes or zucchini and it is really good. Just slice, press in the corn meal and fry in olive oil. I like it because you don't have to do the whole flour and egg part and it stays crunchier.
