I made this for dinner tonight and it was very easy and quick, not to mention quite tasty!

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion (I used dreid onion flakes)
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup ketchup
2 T prepared mustard (I only used one)
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 1/2 cups minute rice
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Brown meat & onion in large skillet on med./high heat. Drain Fat, stir in water, ketchup, salt & pepper. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice, cover, lremove from heat, let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork, sprinkle top with cheese, cover let stand 3 more minutes or until cheese is melted. You can garnish with lettuc, pickle & tomato slices if you wish.

I make somthing similar, but I add 1/4 to 1/2 C BBQ sauce!!! Man oh man is it delish!! I also top mine with chopped pickles and bacon bits.

my husband loves this stuff...I dont care for it ... I also use that to fill peppers with.
