My family loves this. I always brown the ground beef first and I also add cheese and french green beans.

I think I might make this again on sunday for lunch. I was looking for something to make after my ds's sunday school program. FIL was coming over after.

Can I put this together in the morning and then put it in the oven a couple of hours later?

Yes you need to pull it out 1/2 hour or a little more to get to warm up a bit before baking it.

I will have to suggest ketchup to the kids.I know they would like it that way.

My mom used to make something like this when I was younger. She added a bag of frozen veggies to it. Sometimes she would cut an onion up into it; however, I don't like onions, so I usually skipped it on those nights.
