Hi , I'm new here and just put this on another post also.Hope that's ok.

Crockpot French Dip

1 roast(any kind) cut off excess fat
1-can or bottle of beer
1-can beef broth
1-can french onion soup
1- package of 6 hoagie rolls

Put all in crockpot cook low 8-10 hours or untill it fork tender.Take roast out of crockpot and cut up with kitchen sissors into bite size pieces.Spit open the rolls and toast in oven(I butter mine lightly before toasting).Place meat on buns .Ladel au jus ( sauce in the crockpot) into small bowl to serve with sandwich as dipping sauce.

Easy to make and freeze. The alcohol from the beer burns off during the cooking time.

Blog Entries: 4
1 lb ground beef chuck
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 cc bbq sauce
1 (10 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough
2 c shredded Cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 400
Lightly grease 8 muffin cups.

Cook ground chuck with onion; drain off the grease.
Stir in the barbeque sauce and simmer for another 3 minutes.
Roll out each biscuit on a floured surface so that each biscuit is 6 inches across. Put the biscuit in the muffin tin and fold up sides to create a cup shape. Fill each biscuit fill almost to the top with the meat mixture; top with cheddar cheese.
Bake til biscuits are baked, cheese is melted and tops are golden brown, about 15 minutes
