1 c low sodium soy sauce
2 c water
3/4 c vinegar
3 Tbs honey
1 1/2 Tbs minced garlic
3 bay leaves
1/2 tsp pepper
3 pds skinless, boneless chicken thighs (trimmed of fat)


Preheat grill for high heat, and lightly oil grate.

Mix soy sauce, water, vinegar, honey, garlic, bay leaves, and pepper. Bring to a boil, and put chicken in.Reduce heat, cover, and cook 35 to 40 min.

Remove chicken, drain on paper towels, and set aside. Discard bay leaves.

Return the mix to a boil(uncovered), and cook til reduced by 1/2.

Put chicken on grill,about 5 min each side,til browned and crisp.

Serve w/soy sauce mix.

Can also serve w/rice.
