This is a favorite in my house. Since the price of food has risen so high, and we're tired of peanut butter and spaghetti all the time, we needed something different.

You will need :
2 cans of cat food (your choice, but some kind of salmon blend is nice)
3 cups of cooked rice
1 and 1/2 cups shredded mozzerella cheese
you can also add veggies. we sometimes throw in a couple of potatoes, but you can experiment with others.

fry the cat food in a large skillet with oil till it is browned on the outside. place the cooked rice in a casserole dish, along with any veggies you desire. top with the cat food and shredded cheese. cover with aluminum foil and bake in an oven preheated to 425 degrees for 30 minutes.

and i am just joking about this recipe. every time my dh pass the pet food aisle at the store, he always asks if i want to make cat food casserole tonight. i'm just trying to make light of the high food prices situation (i keep hearing that we'll all be eating pet food next). who knows, maybe there will be a legit cat food casserole one day???

When I saw the title,, I thought "I don't think I could eat something called that" ,, thinking it was probably with tuna or something

then when I glanced inside and saw the ingredients, I 'BOUT gagged!!

THEN, I FINALLY got to the 'kidding' blurb whew!! lol
