I am just getting in on this and have not read through all of the posts.

Please do not leave do not leave on account of a few. Most of us are respectful toward other's beliefs; however, there are some on this board who are less tolerant.

I am Catholic; my cousin is a Wiccan. I have great respect for your belief system and find that you are eloquent and sincere.

Again, please do not leave.

And Kemtee... you pose thoughtful questions and only wish to increase your knowledge. If only everyone could be as open minded, then we wouldn't have all of this drama. We need to think.

We need to examine, critically, what we think and why. And knowledge of other belief systems can only strengthen our own; if it makes us question our faith - well, then maybe our faith isn't as strong as we think it is.

Tink - you've no need to apologize. You've done nothing to apologize for. And I understood what you were trying to say with the "it's you're xxx - burn in it" comment. You can't go somewhere that doesn't exist for you any more than I can!

Just caught up with this thread. I was wondering what was so interesting about the Wiccna religion that the thread is 11 pages long! Boy what a read.

I have been in this forum a lot and have never been flamed like tink was, and it was flaming, no suggering it up, that was somebody judging Tink and without reading about her religion, just plain syaing it is wrong and demonic!

I appreciate Kemtee asking about Wiccan religion, I learned a lot and my sterotype of witches was killed by going to the website and reading what witches are and what they do. If anybody remembers I think it was Kemtee who asked Lou about her ba'ath religion too.
As for Melanies warning about it being dangerous, yes it is, but we didnt ask her to give us spells, we just asked for more information. I would never try to performe the spells on the websites Tink told us about, becasue I am not learned in her religion.

I do find some ladies on this board (not generalizing) come out fighting and criticizing ebfore they read and think. It seems that right away the shutters come down over the eyes and they will not look at it and aknowledge it. This is not right and not fair. I have been given respect while having a "different" religion, which as you all know is not very popular in the USA these days (LOL) so i think we should give Tink the same respect.

Tink, you did nothing wrong, you seem like a nice person, I was also frekaed out when you said you have grandkids, i was born in 1978, same as your kids, you should post more about yourself, hobbies, job, wheat part of the US you are from.

I had one sister, she died at 22 yrs. old, from Hodgkins lymphoma at home.Probably the hardest thing I ever did was zip up her body bag when they took her....
I have two son's and a daughter, my Daughter goes to Church every Sunday... Thats their choise, I never MADE my children be what I am, I showed them But the choice to learn and find your own path is always your's...

Ok everyone its time I got serious as Mod of this board Im going to lock down this thread for these reasons.

I posted seperately that I asked that we all post as passionately as we like ABOUT the topics started not the personalities.

This board is useless in my opinion if strong opinions held are not mentioned and double useless if issues passive and controversial cant be explored.

Im going to say from my limited knowlege so excuse me here Wiccans and or white witch is not demonic magic.

If we dont like, agree, are afraid, of an issue dont respond

Kellys question was on a point of interest not just to her but to those of us who want to expand our knowledge of the world, that doesnt mean we need to acccept or follow and join. It just is, a point of information.

I wont have anyone disrespected on my watch Ultra Christians or none and since I dont want to lose anyone from Melanie, to Alicia and tink, and I dont want anyone particualrly you Kelly from deciding to stop asking question this thread is locked down

Now if someone doesnt like my choice feel free to pm Kim I feel this has gone on long enough and has deviated from an exploration of tinks beliefs into something else

There are still a few more questions people may have for tink and if they do please post again under another thread heading and possibly we can start again
