OK. I'm going to say it. Melanie, back off. Tinkerbell is entitled to her beliefs and was simply answering a question..Tinkerbell, I know you can stick up for yourself, but you are not the one putting down others for believing differently. We all think someone's not doing the right thing at times, just as you may feel I am doing wrong in this message, but we have a right to our opinions WITHOUT being lambasted for it. As one poster said, if you don't like the thread, skip over it.

They dressed GOTHIC, has nothing to do with Witch Craft or Wicca. They were just having fun.

gotcha, I guess I needed to read the title of the picture..

so then the hand signs they are throwing out there were just them screwing around?

I guess I get a bit scared, and concerned, when there are folks like you who are strong believers in their lifestyle and believes and then there may be folks who shine a bad light on you all..

don't get me wrong there are tons of folks who claim to be christians who do the same...

the darn church in Kansas that protest soldiers funrals are a prime example of BAD APPLES....

You know, yesterday I was going to post something along the line of "I wonder when the Christians are going to have a fit about this thread" because my thread on the old board about what an athiest believes was filled with responses indicating that it was inappropriate for the religion/spirituality board. I wanted to warn you, Tink, but I was hopeful that since they hadn't posted yet, maybe they would just let it be.

My ex husband married a witch, and he was a very active Catholic. Didn't seem to be a problem for them.

I guess what is not comprehended by many Christians is that there are a lot of other religions in the world, including the old pagan ones. Not everyone will ever be, nor want to be, converted to Christianity. And we're fine with that. Same with Islam (which is a larger & faster growing faith than Christianity).

A lot of Witch's today dress just like you for their rituals as the cloaks swirling can catch fire..

ok, so i was showing DH the post with all of our Pictures...

and DH wants to know if you wear that cute little number when you do your rituals...

he said He wants to know where to pick one up for me to just WEAR around the house... what he means is wear around the bedroom...
