Maybe if people centuries ago just ASKED, All the people that were THOUGHT to be WITCH"S would not have been BURNED...
Most of them were just inocents.
And Maybe if people ASKED, the HOLLICAUST may have never happenned!

OHhhhhh i so did not want this post to go this way.I do think that somone stepped on somone elses toes.Kemtee had asked a question about somones faith....not Christianity.THat should've ben brough up in a different post.I'm not as aritculate as Kemtee so i dont really have anything else to say......except itstinkerbell i'm, glad you're here

I try to replace when I can by gardenning, I only pick what I use the rest of my garden I put out as an offering to the Goddess through feeding her animals.I have a bird feeder on my deck just like a lot of you do, and I feed the squirls peanuts every morning, and every morning I am still fasiniated by them as they sit and eat quietly on my deck!
I light candles on my alter and I pray during the day. I pray for myself and humanity.
I am not so different, just not Understood....and that's OK.
Your God was not understood either, thats why they crusified him... out of FEAR!

Okay...why I want to get in another argument on here, I don't know...but here goes anyway. As I've stated many times, although I'm politically conservative, I'm not a particularly religious person. We do not go to church, prayer group, any of that stuff. I read the original post and reply with mild interest, but then after the comment from Melanie it got very nasty. Now Melanie was certainly saying that she thought those thoughts were dangerous ones, but I didn't find her comments all that rude. Certainly no ruder than the comments that have been made on here by itstinkerbeller, kemtee, and others. (sorry kemtee...you know I love you). I guess I don't understand why when christians give THEIR opinions they're bigoted, close-minded people, but when people attack christians they're just "expressing themselves freely". If a muslim or witch posted to a christian thread would you tell them they shouldn't post to it?? Can't have it both ways girls. So I'm not here defending the christian faith, but I am defending melanie's right to express herself.

I don't know Aliadam, much respect but I felt as a "self professed Christian" asking questions that it was condescending. A "what kind of Christian are you?" kind of thing and of course people are going to be offended by that kind of bullying. JMO

I believe it was the condeming tone of Melanie's post. The "good vs. evil." I believe that some of the "Christian" posts are you are with us sounding or you are pure evil sounding. I could be wrong, but that's the vibe I get from it. I don't usually chime in on these things, but I've been reading right along and that's the tone I gathered from it.

Tink was only giving information that was asked of her. She didn't condem anyone elses religions and it wasn't until she felt attacked that she said anything other than to answer some questions that were asked.

Just a thought: If the Christians want to "help save" more people and sway them toward their way of thinking, a softer, gentler approach would be the way. Even Jesus didn't go around yelling, he converted most of his believers with the soft spoken truth. JMO

Thank you for the complement, I have 6 Grand children, Number 6 is being born this thurs.
My oldest Son was born in 1974.My daughter in 1977 and my last son in 1979. My oldest grandson is 12
I am still wearing a size 3/4
I turned 50 in April, feel like I am 20....
I am in the middle of an adoption of my two grand daughters 1 & almost 3, Emmy and Adriana...Long story.....
I was married for 27 years *before I WOKE up...
Now I am married to the most wonderful man, I am living a romance novel..I finially know what it feels like to be LOVED...
I am happier than I have ever been...
