How are we doing girls? It's week two of the November Challenge.

I am happy (and proud) to say that I have made a point of hitting the gym four days a week. I typically take Wednesdays off and spend that entire day with the kids. I have improved my 3 miles run to 29 1/2 minutes. My speed is now between 5.9-6.2 with a minute and a half sprint intervals at 7.0-7.3. My incline is still 3 and I don't think I will increase it at all. The last time I did I ended up with a stress fracture on my foot!!!

How are you girls doing? Are you making a point of prioritizing your thirty minutes of cardio? If you do, you will find how much easier it is to do it. It soon becomes a habit!

29-1/2 is a great time Christy! I was up to running 3 miles at 23:45 for a while, but when I started training for the 1/2 marathon, I had to slow down a bit. I run it know about 24-25. My goal is to run it in 20 minutes, since that is the time we have on the treadmills at work.

I have only been able to run Monday and Tuesday this week since we are short handed at work and I am filling in for people. I did run one mile last week and did sprint intervals at 8.0, YIKES! that was hard. I was going to try for 2 miles but didn't have enough time. That's a great training workout though and I felt good after my workout.

I know this is Nov challange, but I need to brag too! christy and Lamby you are both doing great, once I lose a bit I want to start running too.
I did the Firm all 5 days! different areas each day, and fianlly my legs have started feeling normal and I dont feel out of breath after just the warmup! I fell like I lost soe wight already, I am not measuring or weighing, I am just going by how my clothes fit. I will try to do more than 30 minutes on saturday and sunday.

GREAT JOB!!! I don't go by numbers either. I just want to fit into my pre pregnancy wardrobe again!

Stick with it girl...but remember let your body rest too. It will help keep you motivated and if you don't rest, you may burn out.

Great job girls!
I too, will not step on a scale...I just want my clothes to fit comfortable again, and then I'll go from there...rigt now it's about NOT going up a size for me!
I walked 30 mins 4 days this week...I'm starting back up again but slowly, next week I will go back to my Tae-Bo tapes...Oh how I have missed them!!

Good for you Shell. Slowly but surely you'll get yourself back on track! Just try and keep your focus over the holidays. Look at the bigger pictures: bikini season is six months away!!!
