Has anyone on a diet used Myfooddiary.com? I am thinking about using this as a weight lose tool. Some nurses I work with use this site and say it is very helpful.

It appears to be the same thing as fitday.com But fitday is free, my food diary is $9 a month.

Fitday.com is a good tool for tracking your weight, foods, and exercise and you can chart your progress and see whenre you're making strides or need to make changes. Again, the same as my food diary, but no charge.

Thank you...I will check it out. I'm glad I didn't sign up on the other website.

I used MFD for a while and really liked it. The only thing that stinks is you have to record everything you eat and if I didn't keep track of it all day, it was easy to fall way behind. I didn't think the $9 was all that much considering I was losing around 15 lbs a month using it. Way worth it to me!! I haven't checked out the other sites, but I did like how you could record everything (measurements, etc) on there and you had a fridge to store foods you ate on a regular basis. I also liked how they included other counts besides fat and carbs. It counts sodium and vitamins too which to me is a healthier way to approach losing weight. www.CalorieKing.com is a good tool and really opens your eyes on what is really in the food we eat!! I guess if you were motivated enough, you could use CalorieKing and a notebook and do the same thing as MFD. Goodluck with your weight loss goals!!

I have not used that one. BUt I use www.sparkpeople.com It is much like ediets but FREE!!! It really has helped me to contol my weight. I love talking to the people and being able to input my food that I ate for the day and they calculate the calories and fat etc.
