Can I get on board with this? I am already on another forum that is great....free, calorie counter, meal planner, weigh in, exercise routine you name it and it is working great! I have been off track with the holidays though and since I am on her EVERY day and you all seem to be such motivaters I thought that maybe I could jump right in and help motivate too!?!?!?!?

Do you have any challenges for December?

Thanks! Looking forward to "losing"

Sonja

You absolutely can join and to be honest, it's best to join now and stay focused while the holidays quickly approach us!

The challenge that is set is to do AT LEAST thirty minutes of cardio THREE times a week. If you exceed that, good for you. Your challenge will be to push yourself more. Work harder those three days or stretch it out to four.

If you are new to exercise, do NOT over do it. You can get work out burn out. That happens when you approach something with great enthusiasm and then little by little decrease your activities. Just start small and then build for more. Thirty minutes of cardio can be climbing stairs, jumping rope, running on the treadmill, eliptical, rowing, walking, etc.

Good luck and keep us posted ~ WEEKLY

Great this is awesome. I love to have motivation to go along with exercising and eating healthy! The last month or so I really lost touch withthe whole exercise and eating healthy but now I am even more determined especially with the holidays. And my big kicker was the fact that I will be 30 at the end of March and I had wanted to lose 50 pounds by then! I have lost 10 since quitting my job in September but gained 4 back

Count me in and I will keep everyone posted to my success!!! Because there will be success!!!

Ok, forgot to check in (again). But I have been eating better. Haven't really gotten the walking thing going yet. I think I am going to move my alarm clock that way I HAVE to get out of bed to get to it. I have to go shopping today so I am going to take a few quick paced laps around the mall. Will that count for the day?

I definately think that laps in the mall will work for your 30 minutes! YOu can't go wrong with a nice quick brisk walk. That is what I will be doing is going to Walmart and walking (and shopping:D ) but then later I will either do a dance video with the girls or get out one of my exercise videos.

Make sure to drink at least 8 glasses of water each day. If I drink my water each day it makes me feel so much better about myself. As long as I try and eat pretty good.

My goal is to eat 1200-1550 calories a day. If anyone wants to know where I go to track all of my food and exercise you can PM me and I will give you this great website that I go off of!

Good luck this week! The holiday are less than a week away!

Well, I finally drug myself out of bed early enough to go for a walk this morning. I have to go before dh goes to work since we work opposite shifts and frankly it's too cold here to take the boys' w/me right now. So, I started my day w/a walk and I did notice that I ate less throughout the day and it felt good to start the day out that way. Let's just see if I can get out of bed that early tomorrow! LOL

I am doing good.I have found I love the exercise ball!!!

I did it yesterday and I had fun while I was doing it.I know that even sounds crazy to me but it was.I did about 20 minutes and when I get done on the computer I am going to do another 20 minutes and then get my shower and eat some steamed broccoli for lunch and a glass of chicken broth or beef broth with it.

I am getting really excited about this now.I am sore.I know it is working then.More than the exercises I was doing.I am also cleaning and washing down everything in my kitchen today including the cabinets, china cabinet, stove, fridge, floors ect. That will be included as another work out too yeah!
