Yes, I am a believer. I am Southern Baptist and I was saved when I was 11 years old. I didn't get baptized until I was 16, because my dad didn't want me to. Melanie explained salvation really well. Baptism does not save you, it's just symbolic of what Jesus does for us when we are saved-He washes away our sins. Salvation is an easy process, A-admit your a sinner and you have done wrong--B-believe that Jesus died on a cross and rose again on the third day--C-commit to living your life for Him. Find a church that teaches the Bible and fellowship with a group of believers. My oldest son was saved when he was 6. My middle son who is now 6 is asking questions. We are very active in our church, and we have Upward sports (basketball, cheerleading, football) and have a large AWANA program. So he is hearing and absorbing the Word. God is starting to speak to his heart. Well, I didn't mean to go on and on, but I did. Blessings Angela
