I went through, and continue to go through, the EXACT same thing. I have always been a good sleeper...always. My friends in high school used to tease me because at slumber parties I was always the kid who actually slept through the night!!!
Working out helped a bit. It make my body release some tension and tired it out making me more able to fall asleep at night. The waking up in the middle of the night is annoying and I agree makes the wake up at 6am that much worse. I went through this for a year and my doc said he thought I was depressed. He thought I was repressing my feelings about the move which only made things worse for me. Normally I can get somewhere and find a social group and just fit in, but this time around it's been a really tough struggle. I didn't realize that being depressed could affect your sleep that way. I thought it made you sleep, but he said that typically those people who are depressed have sleep trouble because their minds are full of anxiety. With your new move and all the new changes that come with it, maybe you are going through the same thing. Even the toughest of us can succomb to natural causes!!!! If exercising doesn't help and modifying your diet to eliminate any sugars or caffeine before bed doesn't help, then I would strongly suggest seeing a doctor about it. I went over a year with this problem and it doesn't get any better on its own
