I was curious as to what hope other religions offer. As a Christian, I know that I will one day be in heaven with my Lord. What hope does your religion offer you?

As a Christian, also, I cannot imagine having God to turn to. *In ALL things, good and bad, I know HE is at work....that sometimes my life may be in the "pruning" stage, but that no matter what, I can turn to Him.

As a Christian my hope is living an eternal life with Christ in heaven.

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Phil 3:14

As a muslim, Islam gives me the hope that I have lived a good honest life( and will continue to live!) and for that good life I hope to get into heaven to be with my family that has passed on (mom) and live an eternal life in heaven.

As a Baha'i, my religion gives me hope for both this world and the next. I have hope that peace on earth is possible and that I can spend my time now and for eternity growing closer to God.

It has given me hope that as long as I keep my sins under the blood, that Jesus will return (soon) too get his people and I will spend eternity in Heaven with my Savior!

That's almost the exact thing I percieve.

What I leave behind is more important to me than the prize though. I mean that as I don't do good things in hope of a reward. I'd like to leave a legacy of love, compassion, understanding, and good will. I hope that I have given the things here on Earth that I hope to recieve there.

Thanks for replying. This does help us to understand each other a little better by knowing what we are hoping or looking forward to.
