Unhappy I'm so discouraged!

I have just completed week #2 of the weight watchers program on my on. I weigh myself on Mondays. Last monday was great 3lbs gone ! I have been so good I didn't use any of the flex points the first week, and only 8 this past week. So today I weigh in and I actually gained 1/2 lb. When I see that on the scale it just makes me think, this just isn't worth it! But I am sticking with it! Ugh!!

Sometimes inchs come off before pounds! At least thats how it works for me.

Don't be discouraged. I just started myself, too. We just have to hang in there. It works for alot of people, so it will work for us too!

Don't get discouraged. There are a lot of factors that can play in to the scale fluxuating. Antehistamines, antibiotics, just about any drug fro a cold will make you gain weight until you get it out of your system. If you ate anything salty, that will make you retain water. If it's "that time of the month", you can gain big time! I gain 3lbs that week! Just hang in there, and don't get discouraged.

I'm a little discouraged this week too. I was 'on a roll' last week and the weeks before, but I had a mole removed on Friday and the doctor told me I can't work out for 3 weeks! (However, I asked about treadmill and she said that will be ok after about 4 days..)

Well, over the weekend we had a mom's night out (Mexican food! All those chips/salsa!!!) and we had a birthday party yesterday. I feel like I have blown it....

But I'll try to get back on the wagon today... I can start back on the treadmill tomorrow, so at least that will get things moving in the right direction again.

Ugh.

Dont worry! the 1/2 pound could be anything. You will do better next week. It matters how you feel, how long you workout, how your clothes fit.

I've been really discouraged this past week or so myself but I'm going to keep going. Although my scale doesn't show it, I remind myself that I'm eating alot better foods than I was before, I'm drinking way more water than I was before and I've cut down on Coke from about 4 a day to only one a day (which my stomach is saying "thank you") and I'm saving money on soda. Plus I am getting more exercise so my body is feeling better.

So keep up the good work and look at the positive changes you're making and try not to focus so much on the scale numbers!! You CAN do this and you WILL do this!! I have total faith in you and your abilities!
