I already go to a gym 5 morning a week and do cardio work..either treadmill or eliptical machine for 30 mins. I am seriously thinking about joining curves to go a couple times a week to get the resistance training in. Does anyone do this? I have done Curves before but am not satisfied with the cardio there an feel I need more.
Thoughts?

I have done both, but honestly I think you will be wasting your money. Can you not get a combination of both at your gym? Take classes, do machines, cardio. I just cant see paying for both.

I agree. You will be wasting your money. You can do the resistance training at your gym. As one of the staff (assuming they are trainers) to show you some examples.

The place I go is VERY tiny! The only weights they have are a selection of dumbells (sp?). So getting my resistance there isn't an option. I guess I was thinking...in the cold months I would do both places and wnen it got warmer I would just do my walking outside and still do Curves a few times a wee. Hmmm...does anyone do resistance at home? What program do you use?

Instead of spending the money for Curves why don't you just go out and buy a few dumbells that you could use at home? You could also get a exercise ball to use as a "bench". You probably wouldn't spend as much as you would paying for Curves. I wanted to edit to add that you could also get some resistance bands as well.
