Even if you are not doing weight watchers you can use this site to help you. Click on the link and then click on eating out on the top. You have a selection of restaraunts to shoose from. The lower the point the lower the calorie and fat. I hope it helps!

We don't normally go to fast food restaurants, however, when we do I always choose anything GRILLED over breaded or fried. And instead of ordering the value meals, I only order the grilled sandwich and a small water or diet soft drink

If there are salads available, I sometimes choose those (Not always) and a low fat or fat free salad dressing

Wendy's and McDonalds seem to have great choices for those watching their waistlines. Sonic (I think) or was it Arby's, has some out with a deli sandwich. I tried it, but was not a huge fan. Subway is a better option, or even Quiznos!

Has some good guides for WW - I would think even if you were following another diet (besides atkins) you could use this as a guide.

Skip the fries...some places will let you choose a side salad instead. Also, order the smaller sandwich like a Jr. sandwich. It's cheaper, still filling, and won't do you in on calories.

Since we only have a McDonald's here or subway I go with a salad low fat dressing and if I want a burger I just get a hamburger with a side salad.

McDonalds: grilled chicken sandwich (no mayo) - this is really good

Taco Bell: chicken soft taco - fresco style (I order two)

Subway: Turkey sandwich - 6 inch, no cheese or mayo (mustard instead)

I heard once that the bean burrito at Taco Bell is the best fast food item to order. Get it without cheese for lower fat.
