ray: For those of us who are always asking for prayers, I thought I would make a "Prayer Request" list that we can add to as we see the need for a prayer to be lifted. ray:

*There will be regular request on here, so rather than relist them every week, I will list them here. All new ones will go into a regular post whenever something comes up* PLEASE IM me with any "Regs" that need to go on this list that you can think of!!

**Kim (our faithful leader), The whole Mommy Savers group of ladies, Newlywed's financial burden, Bryce and his family.....**

I would like to pray for my cousin Lacey to have a safe flight from Florida and my dad to quit drinking. It used to make me angry, now it saddens me.

I would like to request prayer for me - I am flying to visit my sister on Wed. (This is my sister that has breast cancer). Please pray that I will have a safe flight. I have always been alittle skiddish of flying but with all that is going on in world I am quite frankly scared. Thanks so much.ray:

I would like to request a prayer for my mom.

My dad passed away on wednesday basically from kidney failure. He was in and out of the hospital for the last 3 months. Also had dialysis he didn't like. Several times would have very low blood pressure from the dialysis which would land him back in the hospital. He came home at noon on tuesday, we had hospice come, they gave him probably 48 hours. At 4:30 that day he opened his eyes for about 5 minutes. Looked at a picture hanging on the wall of my mother and father some 50 years ago. He looked at my mom and me and my brother standing beside his bed. I don't know if he was actually seeing us but I think he did. The next day on wednesday he wasn't moving his leg, feet or his arm like he was the day before. At about 4:30 wednesday he started to breathe different. The breaths had a longer time in between. He took 2 more short breaths and he was gone.

Hospice gave us a book on what to expect. What he was going through now started 2 weeks before but we didn't know that until now. He would pick at his blanket, see things that weren't there, reach for things in the air, he stopped eating and basically stopped talking to us. We might get a nod now and then or he would say something we couldn't hear at all.

My mom needs a prayer or two to get through this. He was her best friend. They were married for 52 years. She thought she was going to go first. They thought my dad was the one who was going to take care of her. She has macular degeneration. (she can't see that well)

After the funeral I laid on my bed and cried for a good half an hour. Its hard to think of him not being here anymore. He's not in the hospital or the nursing home or even laying in the hospital bed in my moms living room. I place him sitting at my kitchen table or sitting on my living room couch and think never again.

I am so sorry. I hope more people find your thread here and read it so they can pray for you and for your Mom. You are certainly in my prayers tonight. ray:
