Besides the chest cold that is almost gone (breathing is still not back to normal)- I have been still motivated. One thing that helped tremendously is that I am not really all that hungry- I eat the minimum caloric intake, so I don't get into starvation mode. I added in a little bit more of my normal exercises with the pilates. I have noticed that I am not thinking that I am on a diet- that would only be setting me up for failure because that would be the only thing that I am thinking of!
I have been making better choices of food without realizing it, i drink more than the recommend 64 ozs. of water (I am so thirsty anymore)- have not had a sip of pop in a few weeks (which I am grateful for!). I am thinking about eating slower and how food is really only meant to fuel your body. I give my self the weekend off (in other words if I am craving something I will eat it on the weekend- in moderation), last weekend- I was not in the mood to make supper so we went to McD's- i got a cheeseburger kids meal (I know that is kind of cheesy to order one for yourself)- but so much healthier than the normal adult size.
I know that the lbs. are dropping- but I have not noticed it besides measuring and weighing myself. So overall, I am happy that it is becoming more of a lifestyle change!
