Has anyone every tried one of these products? The are pills (I think) that you take for 30 days (or something like that) that help to clean you out...

The only downside I've heard of is they actually make you smell. Like odors/toxins releasing from your body...anybody had any advice?

Thanks!

I did a 2 week colon/body cleanse from GNC...I'll be honest, I didn't see the difference and didn't feel any better afterwards...I have heard that there are some good ones out there, I just haven't found them yet and I'm too afraid to try (I guess).

Now my neighbor had spent a good bit of money on one of those kits and afterwards I read something that says that these are not good for you, that your body has a natural way of fllushing the toxins. I would definately check into the medical websites and ask your doctor before using one.

I've heard of people going to have the enemas done. My policy is it's an exit only portal unless I'm having a colonoscopy.

Wouldn't just eating bran and fruit be better for you anyway?

See I think that's why I can't gain weight my colon works too good, lol. My grandma fed me lots of prunes when I was little.

I would consult a Dr. first. Too many quacks are involved in this for $$$.

IMO it's just not valid and could be dangerous. To each their own. I'd never do it personally. To me, all that stuff about 'removing toxins' is just a marketing tool to make people think that it's actually something they need and want. They feel good afterwards so they think it's 'working'. Heck I feel good after a glass of wine, I bet it's removing toxins! Sorry, I don't mean to be glib but I think it's just bogus. I'd consult my doctor before I tried anything like that...but of course you're probably not going to like the answer!
