So has anyone else had a killer cold this year???

I never get sick!! But now I am sick!! I had been soo good at making sure when people came over to see new baby DS Jayden only 8 weeks old making sure they were not sick. Did great at it to.. DS had not gotten sick until I brought it home!!! I went to drill for my military obligation for one weekend. It was my first time away from home since having DS. I was only gone for the day time came home at night. But low and behold I caught a cold from someone there.. Germs I hate them.. I am a bit of a germaphobe and ended up catching something. Well then DS and DH get sick.. I started feeling better... Then it hit me today, ugh my throat hurts, my head, my neck, lots of SINUS pressure... I hate it!!!I have all these things that need to be done, but no energy!!! Glad I had my flu shot this year.. But heck now I have this.. Bummer just wish this cold weather would go away and I could stay well!!!

Sounds like the same nasty one I have right now too. It feels like someone is standing on my face, my eyes are watering, nose running, headache, sore dry throat...yuk!

I hope you feel better soon.

Yep. We all got it. I took care of the kids, went to the Dr. who said I didn't need antibios. Suffered a couple more weeks and finally called again and said I needed them! Within three days I was feeling much better. I agree that antibios are overused, but I know my own body and when I'm starting to get to a point of a bacterial infection. This was a sub. Dr. because my own was booked up (a partner). Won't do that again!
