I had gallbladder surgery yesterday. The Surgeon said it looked "icky". Whatever that means! I feel pretty good. Just moving slow. I don't really care for Vicodin. It makes me all google eyed but certainly helps with the pain! My stomach measured an inch less around at the belly button so hopefully the gallbladder was the reason for the distension.

Hope you feel better. I have been told my gallbladder will have an attack sometime soon, but it has been three years since they discovered it was "bad". (I could not have it removed at the time due to some other surgery and risk of serious infection. So, I just wait. . . )

Take ibuprofen if nothing else. The hospital doses are 2000 mg so I tend to take four after surgeries and try to avoid the serious pain meds as they make me feel loopy, too.

Just make sure you avoid greasy foods for awhile. I made the mistake of eating a cheddar bratwurst less than a week after gallbladder surgery and boy did i suffer for it too! Hope your feeling better soon.
