When I was seeing a personal trainer awhile back she suggested to me that if my cardio was impeding my strength training, to instead break it up. What she meant was: do ten minutes of warm up. Stretch train. Get back over to cardio and do five minutes more. Strength train. Get back over to cardio and do five minutes more. Repeat until you've completed forty five minutes. When doing this you are keeping your heart rate up for the entire time you are working out and you're burning more calories. It also allows you to do more cardio without feeling the constant burn of it!

As you progress, you can increase your five minute intervals to ten minute intervals instead, making it an hour's worth of cardio!

It's something worth working towards! I saw results within a month FOR SURE

Awesome workout, it was exhausting yet exhilarating at the same time. Thanks for the advice

Just seeing this now!!

It is exhausting....but like you said, very rewarding in so many ways.....personal accomplishments and INCHES LOST!!

Good luck with it...and keep at it. You can modify it as you progress...and it does work!
