How is everyone doing?

This week I gained another pound and I know why. I am stressed out and of course I am an emotional eater so everything goes in my mouth!! Hopefully I will be so focused and funning around with moving that I will lose those last couple that I gained. ugh

Keep moving ladies!!!

Sorry Sonja!

I had to take measurements for a bridesmaid dress yesterday! I am a 40 bust, 37 waist and 47 HIPS! Ugh!!!! I think I gained more weight in my butt than my belly when I was pregnant! This wedding is 4 months away, so I'm really going to get moving!

It's been a great week here! I lost 3 lbs this week - I believe that is only 15 more lbs to lose before vacation! I noticed the vacation date is getting a lot closer than I planned and I am just praying that I can lose this by June 4th! I think in order to reach my goal I have to lose 3 lbs per week in order to reach it- so I have got to get going on that!

I have been watching what I have been eating and must admit that I am doing more through the day (a lot more- I have been doing a lot of yard work and house work in order to get the entire house looking nice for my oldest slumber party in 2 weeks . I have a family who can not clean up after themselves so I am constantly cleaning things up here - so for the most part the house is clean under the clutter!). I have started to do exercises about 4 days a week again- I think I am going to up that one though. I have also been switching up what I am doing- so to trick my muscles.

Do you exercise at home? What exercises do you do on what days? For how long each day do you work out?

I'm asking because I was thinking of starting this myself. We leave for vacation on August 11th, and I'm thinking it's now or never.

I exercise at home- from my own dvd collection and the tv. I record Denise Austin and My Fitness (which is an hour long) on Mondays and Wednesdays (they are on when I am getting my oldest off to school- so I can't really do it while it is on). For the most part Denise switches up her workouts each day to work different parts of the body and for my fitness- I really like Jeanette Jenkins- usually on Mondays she will do lower body with weights to get the upper body (do more work in a shorter amount of time).

The other days I work out are on Tuesday and Friday. I use my own dvd collection for these exercises (I switch them out depending on my mood on how my body feels). I have 3 that I will switch out on Tuesday: Women's Health & Fitness dvd (got it in the magazine section- it was for $10)- it is an interval training that is about 45 minutes long- it really kicks your butt, Women's Health The wedding workout (they have it so you can do something 6 days out of the week)- about 45 minutes- 1 hour depending on what you want to do (all body parts and cardio). And finally Crunch Bikini Body- it targets belly, butt and thighs- only 10 minutes on each body part- the quickest out of the bunch and if I am really lazy or sore I usually will do this one. On Friday I do the Caribbean Workout- pilates version- about a half hour- I got it at walmart for $5.50. I think I will also exercise on Saturdays now- I am not sure what I will do yet- I'll figure it out tomorrow!

Sorry that was so long but those are the exercises I do for the most part. One thing I noticed is that I do things while I am doing stuff too- Like squats and leg lifts while brushing my teeth and doing dishes- little things like that adds up over time! HTH!

Stevesgal-thanks. I am going to look for the Crunch Bikini Body. That is the 3 main things I really want to work on. I have a bikini for vac., but am not ready to wear it out of the bathroom, yet.
