My dh and I are looking for Scripture to include in graduation cards. I admit that while I am a Christian, I am TERRIBLE at remembering Scripture. I need help, please!

Does anyone know any Scripture that deals with a new "journey", trusting in the Lord during a new phase of life, or anything that would be appropriate for a high school graduate?

Thank you, ladies, in advance!

Here's one of my favorites (Jeremiah 29:11): "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"

You should check out biblegateway.com - you can do a keyword search to look for relevant passages of scripture in most of the major translations.

Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my favorites, but here are some others:

Delight yourself in the Lord;
And He will give you the
desires of your heart.
Psalms 37:4

And we pray...that you may live a life
worthy of the Lord and may please him
in every way; bearing fruit in every good work,
and growing in the knowledge of God...
Colossians 1:10

...Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:9

Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6

Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.
Proverbs 19:21

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Romans 8:28

The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make His face shine upon you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn His face toward you
and give you peace.
Numbers 6:24-26

For I am confident of this very thing,
that He who began a good work in you
will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 1:6

Not a scripture, but if you haven't seen Steve Jobs' commencement speech it's very inspirational and may give you ideas:

I use the site Bible Gateway to find specific passages or even just do keyword searches. You can use the drop down menu to pick different versions of the bible too.

HolyBible.com is also an excellent site...I LOVE being able to do a keyword search because I too am horrible at memorizing scripture. I might KNOW a scripture, but not where it's at...or words from a scripture verse, yet not be able to quote the verse.

Stephanie quoted the exact one that came to my mind.
