After a good weekend of working out and doing a lot more around the house (only 10 days til dd's sleepover party!), I decided to step on the scale- I only have 10 more lbs to lose before vacation! I have exactly from today 35 days, so that equals 5 weeks (I think I put down the wrong calculation on the last weigh in)- so if I lose 2 lbs a week from here on out- I will meet my goal:happy dance: . Anyways, this is what I am going to add- at least 30 minutes every day for cardio exercise, I uped my water consumption to .55 ozs for each lb I weigh (I talked to my dr about how much water I should drink every day- he said at least 6-8 8oz glasses of water a day but would prefer me to have atleast .55 oz per lb- so that is .05 more than what I have been drinking). I have cut back my calorie intake to 1200- I was ranging around 1300. Anyways, I don't think that this is too drastic- I need to make sure that I meet this goal or I will probably be upset! I can't believe that since I started to lose some weight this year I think I have lost about 30 lbs! Yippeee!

BTW- I am also going to buy that new Nivea cream to fight cellulite- I saw a 4 week challenge on the Tyra show yesterday while I was cleaning my bedroom and you should of saw the results - there was one lady who had cellulite all over the front of her legs and it was basically gone within the 4 weeks! I have a few sections of cellulite that I would love to get rid of that you can see when I wear my swim suit!

OMG- I need to be drinking 68 ounces of water a day!! I will float away. How do you drink that much water in a day? Do you just keep a cold bottle with you and swig on it all day?

I'm being so selfish-- CONGRATULATIONS AND GREAT JOB ON THE HARD WORK!!!!

I will try the new nivea stuff for cellulite with you? Do you remember what it's called (besides Nivea)? My fiance uses everything Nivea. Shaving cream, shaving gel, after shave, the really good lotion in the blue bottle with a flip cap. He's crazy over it, but his skin is really soft, too.

I only drink 1 glass of juice in the morning and drink water all day long- I used to be a huge pop drinker but switched it with water. I have a sports bottle that holds 21 ozs of water- I used to have to go to the bathroom all the time- but it is easier now!

The Nivea stuff is appropriately called Good-bye Cellulite- I am thinking that it may be a little pricier cause this past weekend they had coupons for them- the one is for $2.00 the cream or the patches (which only give you 6) and the other coupon is for $5 off both of them (good thing I saved them- I think it is a sign from God that I need this!). I just happen to have the tv on the afternoon news when I was cleaning and then the Tyra show came on and these women were showing what they accomplished- the one lady said she likes instant gratification and that at first she was skeptical, but after two weeks she could feel the "burn" from it. We should both try it out and post about our experience on here and the product board!

Stevesgal that is AWESOME!! Congrats to you. Is this all the weight you want to lose or just your goal before your vacation? As you know I am going to the beach at the same time (actually a little earlier - we are going Sat. June 2) and I also have 10 pounds left to lose - well 10.5 technically - to reach my goal. I lost 1.5 pounds last week and forgot to post in the Fri. thread.

Now that it is May 1 and I only have 1 month left before I have to spend the week barely dressed with my size 2 SIL next to me on the beach I am SUPER motivated! I am writing down everything I eat and keeping it to 1500 calories a day. I will keep up with my exercise. I am cutting down to 1 diet coke a day (instead of 2 or 3) and drinking lots of water. I get my water in by just keeping an 8 oz. glass next to the sink and every time I pass through the kitchen I just fill up my cup and chug it. I don't like to sip on it, I like to just drink it fast.

I just need to hit 10 lbs for vacation- my complete goal with motivated mommies was 50 lbs- so far I think I have lost 30 of the lbs- I think ! In total since I started to move more and watch what I eat- I forget what I weighed when I joined motivated mommies- but I was disgusted with myself (yes I really let myself go!). Anyways- I had really bad habits when I joined (some still remain- like the smoking thing! I would like to drop a lot of weight- then quit smoking so I can control the weight I gain better- by then I will be used to doing everything that I do right now). I used to barely drink water- I was a Mountain Dew junkie, I slowly weened myself off of it! I drink water throughout the day- warm/cold, which ever temp it is at the time I drink it!- I have to drink it out of the sports bottle though- or else i will lose track of how many ozs.
